Rev. Angela Kaufman
(Minister to the University)
Angela A. Kaufman is the Minister to the University at TCU. Prior to TCU, she spearheaded DePaul’s downtown campus ministry program and directed the Center for Spirituality and Values in Practice. Her duties at TCU include providing spiritual, moral, and ethical leadership on campus, providing pastoral care for the TCU community, working with TCU’s student religious organizations and campus ministries and directing the Office of Religious & Spiritual Life
Rev. Kaufman received her B.A. from TCU in 1995 in religion and philosophy. Afterwards, she received her Masters of Divinity from the University of Chicago in 1999 with special studies in religion, technology and culture. She was ordained to the ministry by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and is a member at University Christian Church. Her primary research and academic interests are around the intersections of young adult faith development, American culture and emerging religious communities.
Angie is active on the board of the Tarrant Area Food Bank and the University of Chicago DDH Alumni Council. When not on campus, she enjoys reading, traveling and playing with the family dog Bailey. She lives in Fort Worth with her husband Jack and their son Connor.
Cindy Rodriquez
(Administrative Assistant)
Cindy is a life-long Ft Worth resident with a wonderful husband, two great daughters and one grand-dog. She's a constant volunteer with the local theater and arts community and enjoys reading, Rangers games and playing softball. Cindy is responsible thankfully for the day to day operations of the office and is the friendly welcoming face who greets you when you visit us in Jarvis Hall.
Rev. Jeremy Albers
(Christian Church - Associate Chaplain & Disciples of Christ Minister)
Before accepting the call to TCU in the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life, Jeremy served in a variety of ministry contexts from serving with at risk youth in the Fort Worth area, the denominations regional and area youth ministry programs, and as a campus minister. As a graduate from Brite Divinity School and an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), he loves learning, teaching, leadership development, and people! After receiving his undergraduate from Texas A&M in Agricultural Development & served in the Peace Corps in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania as an Agro-Forestry volunteer. Jeremy has a passion for other cultures and beliefs, social justice, and activism. In his spare time, Jeremy loves to work in the yard/garden, create sculptures & artwork, spend time camping, attending renaissance faires/ festivals, playing computer games & playing with his three cats – Ouiser, Merlin, & Jayden. Jeremy also has fish and an Eastern box turtle named Caprichoso, lovingly called “Cappy.
Jake Hofmeister
(Associate Chaplain)
Jake Hofmeister graduated from the University of Richmond in 2004 with a BA in religion and philosophy. While at Richmond, Jake played varsity soccer and was active in the Presbyterian Fellowship group. Jake later received his Master of Divinity at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, focusing on comparative religions and spirituality. During his time at LPTS, he worked as a camp counselor, a refugee center staff member, and a congregational ministry intern. After seminary, Jake worked as the resident chaplain at Bellarmine University and served as adjunct faculty, teaching a senior seminar course on religious fundamentalism. Then, Jake completed a one-year CPE residency as a hospital chaplain at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville. Jake is an ordained elder and a candidate for ordination as Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA). His scholarly interests include the theological correlation model in interfaith dialogue and the intersection of faith development, the behavioral sciences, and culture. Jake enjoys adventure motorcycling, international soccer, working out, literature, and yoga. He has a passion for travel and experiencing different cultures. Jake grew up in Pickerington, Ohio.
Fr. Charlie Calabrese
(Roman Catholic Minister)
Following ordination to the priesthood, Fr. Charlie taught high school for 2 years. Then for 2 years he was a full-time associate pastor in a parish, followed by 8 years as a campus minister at Ohio University. In 1984 he came to TCU. He volunteers at The WARM Place. And he enjoys the outdoors, especially day-hiking in the mountains.
Rev. Blair Prevost
(Baptist Student Ministries Director)
Blair has been with the TCU BSM since July of 2007. He grew up in Chattanooga, TN. and still misses living in the mountains sometimes. He graduated from Samford University in 1999 with a BA in Religion. He also studied history, philosophy and photography. He graduated from Truett Seminary in 2003. Blair has been working with college students for several years. He served as a Resident Chaplain at Baylor for 2 years then moved to Kilgore, TX where he served as the BSM director and an adjunct faculty teaching Old and New Testament. He loves sports, especially soccer, which he played & refereed for many years (& still watches when he can). He is a licensed Baptist minister & in his spare time he enjoys camping, reading & spending time with his wonderful wife Emily who works for the BGCT.
Rev. Linsday Churchman
(United Methodist Minister)
Lindsay currently serves as the United Methodist Campus Minister and Director of the Wesley Foundation here at TCU. Prior to his appointment to the Wesley, he served churches in Tehuacana, Valley Mills, Springtown, and most recently Faith UMC in Fort Worth. Lindsay received a Bachelor of Music Education from Iowa Wesleyan College in 1983 and his Master of Divinity degree from Brite Divinity School in 1999. He is a member of the National Campus Ministers Association, the United Methodist Campus Ministers Association, and the Fellowship of United Methodist Spiritual Directors and Retreat Leaders.
Lindsay enjoys watching all sports, reading, and traveling. He is married to Jennie, a Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) minister and has two daughters – Emily (18) and Rachel (6).
Rev. Rob Hamby
(RUF/Presbyterian (PCA) Minister)
A native of Greenville, SC, Rob graduated from The Citadel in 1995. In August of 1995 Rob married Kendall Myers of Moncks Corner, SC. Rob and Kendall spent their first year of marriage in Mt. Pleasant, SC where Rob worked as a banker and Kendall a school teacher. In the Fall of 1996 Rob and Kendall moved to St. Louis, MO so that Rob could begin work on a Masters of Divinity at Covenant Theological Seminary. After graduating from Covenant, Rob took a call to begin a new RUF chapter at Furman University in the Fall of 2000. In the fall of 2006 Rob accepted a call to be the RUF Minister at TCU. Rob and Kendall are the proud parents of Wells (7) and Simeon Hamby (3).
Jace Thompson
(Young Life Staff)
Jace has been on Young Life staff since 1984 and this is will be his fifth year in Fort Worth as Metro Director. He is married to Dayna and is the father of one girl, Taylor, and 2 boys, Hunter and Brock. One of things he is most excited about is their new house on Wabash...two blocks from TCU campus.
Lance Linnartz
(Campus Crusade Staff)
Lance Linnartz and his wife Christie work full time with Campus Crusade for Christ at TCU. They graduated from Texas Tech University and married in 1993. Shortly after that they joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ and served at Oklahoma State University before moving to Fort Worth. For 5 years, they worked in fund development as National Reps for Cru and worked part time with Cru at TCU. They have 2 daughters, Kelsey who is 11 and Katie who is 9. They enjoy family bike rides and sporting events.
Ms. Kristi Ingram
(Chapel Coordinator)
Kristi coordinates the weddings at the Robert Carr Chapel and before joining TCU she owned a catering\craft service business. She lived in Fort Worth all of her life before moving to Aledo with her husband and four children. Kristi studied kinesiology at UTA and is very involved in local tennis and basketball leagues. She enjoys sports, gardening, baking and entertaining friends and family in her home.
