Nurturing the life of the soul and spirit is at the center of all our
work in this office. We always extend a warm welcome to all members of the
TCU family to participate in on-campus gatherings of prayer, study,
meditation, service and corporate worship.
There are countless opportunities for worship on the TCU campus. Most
notably are worship services in TCU's Robert Carr Chapel which include
monthly ecumenical services of Christian worship for the entire TCU
community and weekly services hosted by Brite Divinity School. A full
schedule of those services is below.

October 10 Blessing of the Animals 5:30PM
November 7 Campus Communion Service 5:30PM
December 5 Carols by Candlelight 9:00PM
February 6 Ash Wednesday 12PM, 5PM
March 23 Easter Sunrise (Sadler Lawn) 6:30AM

In addition to chapel services Brite Divinity School hosts worship weekly on
Tuesdays at 11am and the Brite Student Association sponsors morning prayer
each weekday at 7:30am in the chapel chancel.
TCU is home to over 20 different student religious organizations, each
with their own distinct character and community. Many of these student
communities gather for worship throughout the semester. For a list of
groups and meeting times, click here. There is also a rich variety of
worship opportunities in the Fort Worth area. For a list of local places of
worship please click here. Please also note that each fall, our office hosts
the Annual Church Fair Potluck and Picnic which brings over 30 churches from
the local area to campus.
The chapel is open for prayer and quiet reflection Sunday-Friday 6am-10pm unless otherwise scheduled and in addition to using Robert Carr Chapel, stop by and visit our prayer room for students from all traditions located in Student Center Suite 111. It's open during daily office hours along with our reading room & library across the hall. For a full list of sacred spaces on campus click here.
Simply put, pastoral care is the ministry of care and counseling provided
by pastors, chaplains and other religious leaders to members of their
community. It can help us grow, reflect on the relationship between life’s
events and our faith, develop a deeper and more satisfying spiritual life,
or deal with grief or loss. All chaplains and campus ministers are available
by appointment to provide counsel and support, and may be reached by e-mail
or phone, (817) 257-7830. They are also always available to care for the
University community and if their is an urgent after-hours situation, may be
contacted at any hour through TCU Office of Campus Police, (817) 257-7777.
In addition to pastoral care resources in our office, the campus is also
home to the Pastoral Care and Counseling Center at Brite Divinity School. The
Pastoral Care and Training Center was established by Brite Divinity School
in 1968 to provide service to the community, training to pastors, and
research in the field of pastoral theology and pastoral counseling.
Primarily working from narrative and solution-focused approaches to
psychotherapy, the Center specializes in short-term care. For individuals
enrolled at TCU seeking to work with a psychologist or psychiatrist, please
visit the TCU Counseling Center.
